Centre for Skills offers specialized English language training and a community connections program for Halton Region residents with Canadian Language Benchmark 4+.

 

This 12-week course helps participants improve their English skills, learn about the Canadian workplace, connect with the community, and prepare to find a job and build their career in Canada.

Eligibility

  • Must have a valid and up to date CLB skill level assessment 4 +  (if you do not have this, we can book an assessment for you)
  • Adults (18+) who are residents of the Halton Region.
  • Must be able to attend 12 week full-time program.

Program Details

  • Community Bridge is a full time, 12-week program for adult immigrants with Canadian Benchmark Level (CLB) 4+
  • This program is considered to be a ‘full-time’ commitment to assist participants who are ready to find a job, grow their career or connect with their community in the Halton region.
  • In order to complete all required assignments and activities successfully, we do not advise taking other courses or working during the course hours.
